March 2025 Recap: 3 Fence Builds!
March was a busy month for the ChainFree Chattanooga crew!
We were able to build three fences in our community this month, giving four deserving dogs their own spaces to enjoy life off of the chain. Special thanks to our March volunteers who braved the unpredictable spring weather to make these projects possible, and to our donors whose contributions funded the materials.
G’Boy
First up was G’Boy. This dark and handsome one-year-old blockheaded boy went in for a neuter, and then we got to work on his domain. His fenced-in space will include access to a back door so that he can be brought inside during inclement weather.
Ashe
Ashe was our second fence recipient of the month. This adorable staffy mix girl is about 18 months old. She lived mostly on a tie-out in the yard and frequently escaped. She is a sweet and energetic pup who will greatly benefit from having a safe and secure fenced in yard to run and play.
Abe and Boog
Abe and Boog were our last fence recipients of the month, and these boys immediately enjoyed their enclosure! These boys have lived their whole lives outside and were inherited by a family who reached out because they cannot accommodate them inside, and they wanted these dogs to have a space of their own and not live their lives continuously chained.
